Our Mission

Our mission is to directly impact disadvantaged Ghanaian children and their families by transforming their lives through soccer. We strongly believe that soccer both builds and nurtures relationships, and promotes a strong work ethic and creativity. What children learn from soccer can positively carry over into other areas of their lives. We accomplish our mission by:

• Providing soccer equipment
• Offering financial assistance to families to meet basic needs (food, water, and medical costs)
• Subsidizing educational fees and school supplies
• Supporting a scholarship program that enables highly-qualified Ghanaian high school students to attend college in the United States

Donations

Goals 4 Ghana, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations are tax-deductible.

We gratefully accept both soccer equipment and financial donations. Financial donations are used to directly help poor families meet their basic needs, send shipments of soccer equipment to Ghana, support other G4G programs, and defray minor operating costs. Equipment Drives and Tournaments

We are currently accepting donations of new and used soccer equipment. Your equipment donations will enable children to play the lovely game of soccer safely and with proper equipment. To coordinate an equipment drive or donate equipment, please contact us.

Your soccer club can also host a 3v3 soccer tournament to support G4G. A tournament enables your club to provide equipment and raise funds to cover shipping costs and support other G4G programs. Please contact us if your club would like to host a G4G tournament.

Academic Scholarship Fund

Higher education is a way to break the cycle of poverty, and G4G has initiated an Academic Scholarship Program. This highly selective program is for student athletes who are interested in attending an American university and are committed to succeeding in the classroom as well as the soccer field. Ghanaian students must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Must need financial assistance
• Must have a strong academic record
• Must play soccer
• Must possess the values of Goals 4 Ghana

The Goals 4 Ghana Board will consider all applicants and will award one scholarship annually to the most qualified individual.
